I get a "tfcofficeshim.connect.16" error when connecting to Azure Devops, I'm running Microsoft® Excel® 2019 MSO (Version 2502 Build 16.0.18526.20144) 32-bit Professional Plus.

"Team" menu is often disabled, I need to enable it manually and sometimes it won't work anyway.

I already tried to reinstall Azure Devops connector for Office 2019, but the issue is still there...

    Hi,

I suggest you try to Update the Registry:

    • Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Windows search bar and pressing Enter.
    • Navigate to one of the following paths:
      • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
      • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
      • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins
    • Look for a folder named TFCOfficeShim.Connect.16.
    • Double-click on LoadBehavior and set the value to 3.
    • Close the Registry Editor and restart Excel.

Try this method and check if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.
