please provide the relavent info regarding the ASP.NET MVC 5.3.0 is there any updated on version if not please provide the documentation.

MVC is now part of the AspNetWebStack, and not a separate repo. very little has changed in the last 7 years. See code changes:

https://github.com/aspnet/AspNetWebStack/releases

Note: the library is pretty mature, no updates in a couple years. The 3.2.5 release had the most MVC changes back in 2018. you can also check the issues for any possible pending work.

This answer is not helpful - Microsoft.AspNet.Mvc is a separate nuget package and there is no easy way to find out what's changed compared to v5.2.
Yes, in 2025 there are still projects that only now upgrade to 5.3 from 5.2, and are using .NET Framework 4.7 (not .NET core).

while its a separate nuget, its built from the repo I linked. MVC 5.3 is built from the v3.3.0 branch:

there were no MVC changes in 5.2 to 5.3 (except the sample web.config to update the version) only supporting code. mostly a minor change to HttpResponseMessage. here are all the changes:

this is a very stable library with only minor changes.

So they incremented the nuget package for no reason, without any source code changes? Strange..

when they build the repo, they get all new assets. so a new release includes all new nuget packages. it would be more work to verify no changes in a particular asset.

note: its been 7 years since an actual code change to MVC other than a Japanese resource file fix (5.2.6 - nov 2018)
