Link in the image webpart to open on the same tab instead of other tab

Hypper link in image webpart on sharepoint open the link in another page leaving the source page open, however how to create a link in the image webpart so that it mimic the behavoir of Target=_self instead of _blank

    Hi @Ashok Sah,

    It is an expected behavior in SharePoint. This is by design and I'm afraid it is not supported to change this default behavior. As a workaround, you can right click the image and select open image in new tab to open the image in a new browser tab.
