Windows 10 - Unable to uninstall app - installed using a .appinstaller / .msix form last week

Hi All,

Somehow our app got corrupted on Windows 10 in a few user machines and it is not allowing us to uninstall/install/update via the below options

It displays the error message as below

We couldn't uninstall OnlineApplication Life+CRM

The operation did not complete successfully.

Try again in a bit.The error code is 0x80073cfa, in case you need it.

The error code 0x80073cfa typically occurs when there's an issue uninstalling apps from the Microsoft Store. Here are a few steps you can try:

Reboot your device.

Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.

Select Windows Store Apps and run the troubleshooter.

Reset the Microsoft Store:

Open Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Find the Microsoft Store app, select it, and choose Advanced options.

Click on Reset.

Perform a Clean Boot:

Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, and click Disable all.

Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager. Disable all startup items.

Restart your computer and try uninstalling the app again.
