How to view deployed web app files

Go to the Azure portal and select your Azure Web App.

In the left sidebar, scroll down to find the Development Tools section.

Click on Advanced Tools (also known as Kudu) and then click on the Go link. This will open the Kudu dashboard in a new tab.

Explore the File System:

In the Kudu dashboard, click on the Debug console menu and select either CMD or PowerShell. You will see a file explorer interface where you can browse through your web app's file system.

Navigate to the site/wwwroot directory, which is where your FastAPI application files are typically deployed.

Alternatively, you can also use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client to access the deployed codebase files. To do this, you will need to enable FTP access for your Web App and then use an FTP client to connect to the Web App and view the files.

To enable FTP access, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Azure portal and select your Web App.
2. In the left-hand menu, select "Deployment Center" -> "FTP" -> "FTP Access".
3. Set "FTP Access" to "On" and enter a username and password.
4. Save the changes.

Once FTP access is enabled, you can use an FTP client to connect to your Web App and view the deployed codebase files. You can find the FTP hostname and credentials in the "Deployment Center" -> "FTP" -> "Dashboard" section of the Azure portal.
