Hi @Berit Bryan
Welcome to our forum!
Where did the issue occur? On Outlook desktop client or Outlook for web? To further confirm if the issue is more related to Outlook desktop client, if possible, please log in to your web mail and do the same test to check if the issue persists.
What is the version of your Outlook? It is recommended that you please check the Outlook client version (File>Office Account>Product Information) and try to upgrade to the latest version to see if the problem is resolved.
How did you cancel the single meeting? Could you describe the detailed operation?
In addition, here are some steps you may have a try:
- Use Tool: Use Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to run the Outlook Calendar diagnostic to troubleshoot and fix.
- Clear the Cache: Clearing the Outlook cache can sometimes resolve display issues. You can do this by going to right-click your calendar folder>Properties>Under General, Clear Offline Items.
- Recreate the Meeting: If the meeting is still showing up, try recreating it and then cancelling it again. This can sometimes force the calendar to update correctly.
If all above do not work, considering data file corruption, it is proposed that you create a new profile, re-add your account to the new profile and check if the same issue still occurs.
Hope it helps!
