When I use MFA for my admin account, it works with M365 and other places like portal.azure.com, but it doesn't work when I try to go to entra.microsoft.com. I get a message that says

You didn't enter the expected verification code. Please Try again.

When I view details it says Error Code 500121.

I look through the sign in log, I can see my account authenticate and I can see the guid equivalent of my account fail.

  • Green blocks are my [email protected]
  • Blue blocks are my Display Name
  • Red blocks are the object id of my account.

    Hello @NateChurch ,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Q&A.

I understand you are trying to access the Entra portal through MFA, but you are not able to get in, but you can access the azure portal without issues.

It seems that when you try to open the Entra portal, it’s redirecting you to a different Entra tenant, causing the code to be applied in the wrong tenant. This might be why you're encountering the error, as you may be attempting to access in the incorrect tenant.

To ensure you’re directed to the correct Entra tenant, please try using the URL format entra.microsoft.com/TenantId. This link should open the Entra portal within the specific tenant you need, helping you avoid issues caused by being in the wrong tenant context.

Let me know if this resolves the issue, and feel free to reach out with any further questions!
    Happy to Help :)
