    I understand that you would like to know if you can use the ARM template created with API version "2018-05-01" as a "2023-07-01-preview" for Microsoft.Network dnsZones

    For this, we have to review the change log

    • User's image
    • I don't see any property being removed from "2018-05-01" wrt "2023-07-01-preview"

    So, you should be able to use this without any issues.

    Further,

    • I edited the template provided here updating 2018-05-0 to 2023-07-01-preview
    • The deployment was successful
