Can you convert dynamic security groups in Microsoft Identity Manager to static ones that contain all the people that currently fulfil the criteria

We have a set of security groups based on employee data coming in from Workday, but the organizational structure is being updated, which causes these groups to become empty based on the current criteria. As many of these security groups provide access to legacy folders, we would like to convert them to static groups containing the people that fulfil the criteria right before the transition. Preferably we would do this without manually adding all the employees, as there are hundreds of groups to update. We don't expect these groups to be updated in the future, so "freezing" them would also be an option. As creating new groups will screw up our other systems, we will need to convert the existing groups to static groups, creating new static copy's of the dynamic groups is not an option. Is there a way to "freeze" these groups or to automate filling them with the current members through Powershell?

Many thanks in advance!
