- Open
dcomcnfg
on the target server to launch the Component Services applet. - Navigate to Component Services > Computers > My Computer.
- Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
- Go to the COM Security tab.
- Under Access Permissions, click Edit Limits and ensure the service account has the necessary permissions.
- Under Launch and Activation Permissions, click Edit Limits and add the service account with the necessary permissions.
