MS Translator Conversations listener and speaker errors

I first posted in the MS community, and a moderator informed me to post here. Apologies if this is tagged incorrectly.

I regularly use Microsoft Translator Conversations in my classroom. I use an iPad or Android phone (both have the most updated apps) for the speaker, and I use MS Windows using a Chrome browser and Edge (again, the most updated browser). I have tried multiple computers and multiple devices for both the speaker and listener. The types of events that happen are:

  1. The conversation works on both ends, sometimes for hours and sometimes for minutes. Suddenly, it will say the conversation has ended on the receiving end, but it has not ended.

The conversation will not start on the listener's end. I have deleted site data (cookies, cache, etc.) multiple times -- sometimes it helps, sometimes it does not. The window will show the waiting-to-load image and not stop. I try to refresh, clear site data, etc. It does not help. I usually have to wait at least 10 minutes. I also have to turn off the app or the device on the speaker's end.

The conversation will start on both ends, but the listener's end will not show anything. The speaker's end is transcribing well. Exiting the conversation on the listener's end and reentering will not help. Trying a new name, a new language, or a new region does not help. Eventually, the waiting-to-load image issue (see #2) will happen. Again, I have to wait at least 10 minutes.

The conversation works or eventually works, but the listener's end is set to a language other than English, but only English words are appearing. This seems to be an issue on the speaker's end in the app because I will reset the conversation on the speaker's end multiple times and, eventually, the listener's end will show the translation instead of just English.

If there are any suggestions, please let me know. This issue has been happening for multiple months. I have done everything possible for troubleshooting and fixing I can think of. The only thing that seems to somewhat work is to clear the cache & cookies AND reset permissions on the listener's end. I also have to start and end multiple sessions on the tablet/phone until the English goes away on the speaker's end.

I also really disliked it when the website no longer allowed the speaker's end to be on a browser. I utilized the browser for the speaker's end often because WiFi in my classroom is very poor and the ethernet connection is more stable.

I have contacted MS Support Chat. There was no help offered except for the above troubleshooting tips.
