Why is one page in my doc turned to a picture and I cannot edit or convert to pdf?

My document started out with a box around the first page and the rest is normal. I tried troubleshooting this to get rid of the "text box" but nothing worked. I then tried converting it to pdf. in order to convert back to word, I have found that it was actually now a picture. What can I do and will that affect the rest of the document?

    Where is the document stored, OneDrive online or local folder?

    Did you use Word to convert the document into a PDF file? Have you tried using other software to convert?

    I suggest you extract text from the image and copy back to document.

    • If you've installed OneNote, it includes OCR capability. Copy the image to OneNote, then right-click the graphic and choose "Copy text from picture". The text is placed on the clipboard, and you can then paste it into Word. User's image
