TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 deprecation ,Will it Stop Azure VM internal servers communication

Hi,

We have two servers running on Azure. Both servers are running on Windows Server 2008 R2. One server is configured as an IIS server, and the other is a legacy SQL Server. Both servers communicate with each other using TLS 1.0 and 1.1.

My question is: Will they stop communicating with each other after October 31st, or will they not be affected?

Additionally, external clients will be communicating with these two servers, and the external clients are using Windows 11. Will this have any impact?

    Once the support for TLS 1.0/1.1 is removed, it will have an impact on any VM to VM connections and external to VM connections that pass through the Azure infrastructure. These connections rely on virtual/physical firewalls, routers, gateways, and other components within Azure.

    You need to take action as early as you can, such as upgrading to the latest Windows version that supports TLS 1.2/1.3.
