Is it legal for a company to use only 5 User CALs for Windows Server 2022, regardless of the actual number of users accessing the server?

    Especially when you plan to violate against licenses terms = illegal

    Hello，

    Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community forum.

    According to the license agreement, if the company currently deploys 5 RDS User CAL, but more than 5 users already have access to the remote server in the actual environment, this is a violation of the Remote Desktop Services license terms. Each user or device accessing the server requires its own CAL.
