Mic is working but voice is breaking as confirmed by Teammate. I'm connecting to office environment through citrix login from Remote desktop of Win 11 hosted in Azure environment with 30$ plan per month. RDP Size is 2cpu's EAST US Region 2 and 7gb RAM. Is this size is enough to work smoothly without interruption of video meetings and audio meeting lengthy presentations with screen share. I will be working abroad for 2 months and this RDP should provide reliable and as good as Working in laptop. Could you please suggest your experiences and guidance to me. Before this I used Google cloud VM but windows server only available and MS Teams mic is disabled. Came to know that only MS Teams works fine on Azure, Citrix and VMWare hosted VM's.

    Hi ShankarGoud,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

I understand that You're experiencing voice breaking issues with your Mic while connecting to an office environment through Citrix login from a Windows 11 RDP in Azure (2 CPUs, 7 GB RAM, East US Region).

The current setup is sufficient for basic tasks but upgrading to at least 4 CPUs and 8-16 GB of RAM would greatly improve performance during meetings. Check that Microsoft Teams is configured correctly, and the audio settings are optimized for your Mic. It’s also important to have a stable, high-speed internet connection, as this can significantly impact audio and video quality in remote work. otherwise try for wired ethernet connections. Check if the firewall settings are blocking Teams. Temporarily disable the firewall to test if it resolves the issue. Ensure you’re using the latest version of Citrix Receiver or Workspace Citrix settings Finally, consider reviewing and optimizing the Citrix settings for audio and video to enhance the overall experience.
