Cross-Tenant User Data Migration Concern

Hi team,

I have a question regarding the Cross-Tenant User Data Migration. While it has been announced that this feature is now generally available, I noticed that it is not included in our CSP pricelist.

Currently, we are facing challenges with a user who needs to migrate their emails and files from one tenant to another. Is there another way to perform this migration if the Cross-Tenant User Data Migration is not available for us to use?

Or can you provide other recommendation to migrate emails from Exchange Online to Exchange Online?

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    Hi, @Test Account

For cross-tenant migration, you can try the following alternatives:

1.This document mentions the process of moving mailboxes across tenants and provides guidance on how to move mailbox content for Exchange Online.

2.Export the mail and files into a PST file and then import them to the target tenant, although this method is time-consuming and requires manual intervention, but it is a viable option if there is no automation tool available. Of course, you can also use Power Shell cmdlet to do the same.

3.Using a third-party migration tool can help with tenant-to-tenant migration.
