MFA requirement for all Admins for an External Provider

I needed your help with some clarity regarding the MFA that has to be done by 10/15/2024. I am one of the Intune Engineers at my job, This company uses OKTA for their MFA currently for the companyname.com tenant

but they are saying that our Intune environment/tenant which is a different name, applemouse.com

is NOT synced with Okta for the upcoming MFA requirements for all admins/those with privileged elevated rights and they need for it to also be synced with OKTA for MFA. My question to you is this be something I am responsible for taking care of? Or is this something for the identity management team? I also thought since they are currently using OKTA for MFA for the company tenant name it would also sync or be applied to the Intune tenant name as well? How do we get the Intune tenant name synced with OKTA to meet the Microsoft requirements for MFA?

    For the coming MFA requirement, it is related to Microsoft Entra ID and if the OKTA for MFA has been configured via Microsoft Entra ID, you should contact Microsoft Entra ID support asking for help, also you need to refer to OKTA's documentation or contact their support team for guidance on how to configure this.
