Integrate MDT with SCCM concern

Now we are using MDT to deploy images to our client computers, and using SCCM to do the rest, for example, applications, windows updates and compliance. We plan to integrate MDT with SCCM in future.

My concern is:

After integration, will it mess up our MDT environment or break anything else we have set up in MDT?

Any comments are highly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, the MDT and ConfigMgr integration has no impact on the operation of MDT itself; your existing setup would be unaffected. The integration just adds the MDT step types and wizards into the ConfigMgr console. When you integrate MDT into ConfigMgr, you are just adding features and capabilities of MDT into ConfigMgr.
