Hi everyone,

We have a 4-node (storage spaces direct) Windows Server 2022 Hyper-V cluster. All the nodes are online and all the cluster disks are healthy/accessible(including the ClusterPerformanceHistory) (we've configured a witness).

However, whenever we tried to pause a node while draining its role, it gave an error code: 0x80071763 " An error occurred pausing the node. A clustered space is in a degraded condition and the requested action cannot be completed at this time."

Does anyone run into the same issue?

Thanks,

TDang.

    Hi TDang,

    Thanks for your posting!

There are many reasons that can cause cluster storage in a degraded state. So I would like you to first try to manually repair your volume via PowerShell, to see if the issue can be resolved or there will be some error messages popping up after running the commands. Here is the article that can guide you to run PowerShell commands:

     Best Regards,
