When a user establishes an VPN connection to a Server 2022 on Azure VM (using RAS) some active RDP users get disconected.

It's a Windows Server VM on Azure running Server 2022 Datacenter.

I configured VPN access using RAS (Remote Access Service). Just one network interface on that server (maybe this is the problem).

5 users accessing via RDP tot this server directly (from a permitted IP source) and 2 others using an IPSEC VPN connection hosted on the same server using the RAS Service.

When an external user establishes the IPSEC VPN connection, one active RDP user gets disconnected. Just one. Usually the same user, but not always.

Then, that user can connect again and his session is not closed but just disconnected.

I configured similar VPN infraestructures with just one network interface and users accessing locally and others via VPN and I never got these disconnections...

The difference on this Server is we are using TSPlus to filter connections and to get 10 RDP sessions instead of users CAL. (I don't configured it. Just found it here from previous IT service...)

Can you help, please?

    Hello,

If you are using TSPlus, it means you are not using Remote Desktop Service (TSPlus is a software similar to TeamViewer). You can try contacting their support for more details.
