We have few Windows Server 2012 R2 VMs running on HyperV. This is on premise. Currently we are setting up our Azure environment. Our VMs are being backed up via Veeam. We can see that Veeam has ability to restore VM backup to Azure. Since Windows 2012 R2 are out of support and Windows 2012 R2 templates are no longer available in Azure, are we still able to restore these VMs to Azure? Will the restored Windows 2012 R2 VMs run in Azure?
