After MS Word update an issue occured where saving a Word document as a PDF converts Word drawings into raster (bitmap). Before update all drawings what i had made with graphic tablet in Word drawing tool stayed in vector after saving file as .pdf

Also, when i select drawing and after right click select "save as image" and selecting .svg format it stays bitmap.

I am talking only about Word drawing tool.
.svg images and shapes are staing in vector when saving text document as pdf

My latest Word version is 16.0.17830.20166

We have tried several solutions, including reinstalling Office, exploring various PDF saving, compression and printing options, different PDF software programs, and testing the same processes in PowerPoint. Unfortunately, none of these approaches have resolved the issue.

What should we do to make stay drawings in vector when saving file as pdf?

Kind Regards
Anton Leppik

    Hi @Anton Leppik

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can temporarily roll back a version of Office to have a check.

To roll back to earlier version, such as Version 2407 (Build 17830.20138), you may run following command in Run dialog (Press Win + R): "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.17830.20138

I also suggest you refer to Viorel's suggestion, submit feedback on this issue. Thanks for your understanding.
