The Management Portal for SMA 2022 is part of the Service Management Automation (SMA) suite, which is used to automate, configure, and manage IT services. The portal is typically integrated with the Microsoft Azure Pack, which provides a web-based interface for managing various services, including SMA
However, you are correct that the Web Platform Installer, which was previously used to install Azure Pack, has been discontinued. This has led to some confusion and challenges in setting up the Management Portal for SMA 2022
Despite these challenges, SMA is not a dead product. The latest version, SMA 2022, is still supported and can be deployed by installing the SMA Web Service, setting up the SMA runbook worker, and configuring the SMA PowerShell module
