    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you can try the following methods to solve the problem:

    1. Check the keyboard layout:

Sometimes, the keyboard layout in the recovery environment may be different from the one you are used to. Please make sure that the keyboard layout in the recovery environment matches the usual layout. For example, if you usually use the US keyboard layout, make sure it has not switched to the British layout or something else.

    1. Try other login methods:

If your Microsoft account is linked to your Windows 10 account, try to log in with the Microsoft account credentials instead of the local account password.

    1. Use safe mode with network:

Boot to safe mode with network connection through advanced startup options.

Restart the computer and enter safe mode (hold down the Shift key and click Restart on the power menu).

Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup settings" > "Restart".

After restarting, you will see the startup settings menu, select "Enable safe mode and network".

After entering safe mode, see if you can change or reset the password from there.

    1. Reset password from another user account:

If you have another account with administrative privileges:

    1. Log in to that account.
    2. Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info.
    3. Change or reset the password for the account in question.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
