Hello,
I am trying to install the System Center 2022 Virtual Machine Manager Console on a System that is not in a domain. According to the KB (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/vmm/system-requirements?view=sc-vmm-2022"learn.microsoft.com"))"learn.microsoft.com") being a domain member is not a hard requirement. However, when I open the setup.exe and click "Install", I immediately get an error message, that I need a domain account with admin permissions on the local computer. I can't even proceed to the part where I can choose the console for installation.
For the Version: I used the System Center 2022 VMM iso called "SW_DVD5_Sys_Ctr_DataCenter_Core_2022_MultiLang_VMM_MLF_X23-06083.ISO".
Is there a different way to install the console? Joining a domain is currently not an option and I need the console for a third party program. Thanks.

Yes, but the wording is "should", not "must", which indicates that it's optional, no? It just means that it's recommended, not required?
In my understanding, "should" and "must" have the same meaning, implying that something is required.
According to the ietf, this is not the case: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2119
"Must" means "required", "should" means "recommended", at least in official technical documentation.
So my best guess is that this is a bug in the installer I am using (= the official one linked in the documentation), or the documentation is falsely worded or not up to standards. We don't need to discuss semantics though. If you have a solution to this problem that doesn't consist of adding the computer to a domain, I would love to hear it.
