Hi Dheeraj
Lag during microphone activation in RDWeb HTML5 Web Client sessions usually points to how the audio stream is being handled and buffered. What you’re seeing with Zoom, Teams, and Meet is that the HTML5 client has to spin up the audio tag and negotiate permissions before the stream flows, which can introduce noticeable delay. A good first step is to confirm you’re running the latest Remote Desktop Web Client build, since Microsoft has released fixes around audio redirection performance. Also, check that the WebRTC components are enabled and properly configured, because that’s what the HTML5 client relies on for real‑time audio.
On the infrastructure side, make sure bandwidth reservation and QoS policies are in place for audio traffic otherwise buffering will spike under load. Some admins also disable unnecessary audio enhancements in the VM or host OS to reduce startup lag. Bottom line: keep the client updated, validate WebRTC settings, and enforce QoS for audio streams to smooth out microphone activation.
