Every time I open a new document, the line always starts above.

Now if I open a full word document, it moves everything to the top. However if I export to .pdf the document shows up normal.

I don't know what to do anymore; the settings look like the standard ones to me. I don't seem to have changed anything. The only thing I remember is that I clicked on the same line where it all starts 2 times by mistake and from that time I couldn't go back.

Any solutions? or maybe a way to reset the default settings in word 2021 macOS (on a MacBook Air m1)

    Hi @skysky,

You can try deleting the com.microsoft.Word.plist file from the ~/Library/Preferences folder. This will reset Word to its default settings. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Quit Word.
    2. Open Finder and click on the "Go" menu.
    3. Press and hold the Option key to reveal the Library folder, and then click on it.
    4. Navigate to the Preferences folder.
    5. Find the com.microsoft.Word.plist file and delete it.
    6. Restart Word.
