Hi there
I am trying to run a WMI check using winmgmt /verifyrepository. I get the following:
WMI repository verification failed
Error code: 0x80041003
Facility: WMI
Description: Access denied
Anyone know what could be the cause? The prompt is elevated and access is granted in Computer Management -> WMI Control -> Security

Unfortunately no success. Well, don't know if the article you've sent is valid for Windows 10.
I actually found a machine where I am able to run the command winmgmt /verifyrepository and compared the permissions mentioned in the article with my "broken" machine. All the same...
But I was able to run the command using psexec -i -s (as system account).

Are you referring to the root security as below?
2.Please also compare the permission of the folder Repository under wbem between working and non-working machines.
3.What if you run this command with admin account instead of account with privileged rights?

I am facing a similar issue with my Windows 10 machine, and reviewing the permissions did not help. I do see that authenticated users and system/administrators has full access but I still have "access denied" response from "winmgmt /verifyrepository" elevated prompt.
