shared folders are not visible in onedrive.

Hello there,

got an issue with onedrive shared folder,

when someone is sharing some folder via onedrive , it's not visible when I click (shared->ALL), It is only visible only when I click on shared->folder,

what might be the issue!!

please let me know,

    I know what you mean, but unfortunately, I could not reproduce it, I also could not find some information about this issue.

    If you think this matter has little impact on you, you don't need to worry about it. If you mind, we suggest you can create a new service request in M365 admin center as an admin, and more professional will help you.

    There are many reasons why this might happen:

    1,The issue may be due to the folder not being shared with you directly. When someone shares a folder with you in OneDrive, it should appear under the "Shared" tab in the left-hand navigation pane. However, if the folder was shared with a group that you are a member of, you may need to navigate to that specific folder to see it.

    2,The issue may be due to the folder being shared with specific people instead of being shared with everyone in the organization. When a folder is shared with specific people, it will only appear in the "Shared" tab for those people who have been granted access. To see all shared folders, you will need to click on the "Shared with me" tab and then navigate to the specific folder.

    3,The issue may be the folder has not finished syncing to your OneDrive account. In this case, you may need to wait for the folder to finish syncing before it appears in the "Shared" tab.

    If this is not the case, you may want to try refreshing your OneDrive client or logging out and back in to see if that resolves the issue.

    thanks for your reply,

    if someone has shared a folder today it's visible online(shared->folder)in a couple of minutes.

    but

    some folders that have been shared by colleagues in the past, like one month ago,

    I can see them online but only in shared->Folder, not in shared->ALL,

    this is the issue.

    We are facing the similar issue in our organisation as well. We have MS 365 Business license. One of our employee who has a generic email id ([email protected]) is the only user who faced this issue and we have been trying to troubleshoot with the help articles. Tried all different methods and none of them worked.

    We also deleted the email id and recreated the email id and checked. No success.

    There is no issues with the Onedrive sync like the support has mentioned, as the same folder shared with [email protected] is not available till today and when we shared the same folder with another employee today, got access to the folder immediately, able to see the folder in Shared with me tab immediately.

    We tried creating a new user account to test this again and the onedrive account associated to the new user account also got access to the folder immediately, while the [email protected] is still awating access.
