Windows 11 Hyper-V and Shared Disks

Does Windows 11 allow the creation of shared disks for guest clusters? I know there's the option to create shared vhdx or vhds, but I'm unable to use it.

Am I doing something wrong or it just doesn't work on Windows 11?

Hey,

I haven't found, if shared VHDX is supported by Windows 11. The following comparison states that it is not supported by Windows 10 (not 11). https://redmondmag.com/articles/2019/12/09/windows-10-hyperv-windows-server-hyperv.aspx

    Yes , Windows 11 allow the creation of shared disks for guest clusters

    In Failover Cluster Manager, in the console tree, expand the name of the cluster, and then expand Storage. Right-click Disks, and then select Add Disk. A list appears showing the disks that can be added for use in a failover cluster. Select the disk or disks you want to add, and then select OK.

    Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) enable multiple nodes in a Windows Server failover cluster or Azure Stack HCI to simultaneously have read-write access to the same LUN (disk) that is provisioned as an NTFS volume. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/failover-clustering/failover-cluster-csvs
