My WIFI uses WPA3-Enterprise for authentication. Configuring on my Win11 Pro (22H2) was no issue. However, from time to time, Windows ssems to for get the credentials (username & PW). All other devices (e.g. iPhones) are not affected by this issue.

My WiFi is based on Unifi (UDM Pro SE, 2 APs). I use a radius server in the cloud for authentication.

Does anyone has a similar problem or does someone know how to fix this?

    Hello JGCH,

Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

If you are experiencing issues with Windows 11 Pro forgetting the credentials (username and password) for your WPA3-Enterprise Wi-Fi network, here are a few suggestions to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

    1. Verify the Wi-Fi network settings: Double-check the Wi-Fi network settings on your Windows 11 Pro device to ensure that the correct EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) method and authentication settings are configured. Ensure that the settings match the requirements of your RADIUS server.

    2. Update network drivers: Outdated or incompatible network drivers can sometimes cause authentication issues. Update the network drivers on your Windows 11 Pro device to the latest version available from the manufacturer's website or through Windows Update.

    3. Clear saved Wi-Fi network profiles: Sometimes, a corrupted or outdated network profile can cause authentication problems. You can try removing the saved network profile for your WPA3-Enterprise Wi-Fi network and then reconnecting to it. To do this, follow these steps:
       - Open the Settings app by pressing Win + I.
       - Go to Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
       - Under "Known networks," find your Wi-Fi network and click on it.
       - Click on "Forget" to remove the saved network profile.
       - Reconnect to the Wi-Fi network and enter the credentials again.

    4. Adjust Power Saving settings: Windows power-saving settings can sometimes interfere with Wi-Fi connections. Try adjusting the power-saving settings for the Wi-Fi adapter to prevent it from being turned off or put into a low-power state. Here's how:
       - Open the Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting "Device Manager."
       - Expand the "Network adapters" category.
       - Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties."
       - Go to the "Power Management" tab and uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
       - Click "OK" to save the changes.

    5. Check for Windows updates: Make sure your Windows 11 Pro device is up to date with the latest system updates. Microsoft often releases updates that address various connectivity and security issues. To check for updates, go to Settings > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates."

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may need to reach out to your network administrator or the support team for your Wi-Fi equipment and RADIUS server for further assistance. They can help investigate the issue and provide specific guidance based on your network setup.
