Hello, Im doing an internship, and among many things, i have to put android tablets in kiosk mode locked on one website.

With all the tools available in Intune it shouldnt be a problem, but i am stuck here : i can put android devices in kiosk mode, deploy applications...

but ive only achieved to allow a user to go to some websites specified in a list of allowed URLs on iOS, not android. Ive tried restrictions policies, configuration policies... I see that i can create configuration policies for android devices, but the list of allowed URLs does not work ! The weird thing is that these policies seem to work since the kiosk mode works fine.

I found the solution : create an app configuration policy for managed (or dedicated whatever) devices.

In this policy you can still target a specific app, to add a list of allowed URLs (or blocked), put edge in kiosk mode...

for Edge, I recommend to add edge links (edge://*) in the allowed URLs list to be able to check what is the policy on the managed device for example User's image

@Juliusz Marmion Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

1.To clarify this issue, did you deploy an app configuration policy with managed app to configure allowed URLs in Edge for android? If yes, please make sure that you selected Microsoft Edge (Android) in public apps in this app configuration policy.

2.For Intune app configuration delivered through Managed apps app configuration policies, Intune requires Android 9.0 or higher.

3.Please check the status under Apps > Monitor > App Configuration Status.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.
