Connecting/disconnecting devices sounds on edge

Hello, when i open the microsoft edge, i hear repeated connecting/disconnecting device sounds. that happens only when i open edge and only in the last version. when i open device manager everything seems to work perfectly. Is this a bug? Thank you

Which site do you open when opening Edge? Do you connect any device to the website in Edge? Do you get any text notification when you hear the sound?

Have you tried other browsers like Chrome and Firefox to see if they have the same issue?

Just random sites. somethimes i hear the sound two times, simetimes like 20 with the same tabs/sites oppened. Ιt doesn't seem to be affected by the pages that are open. i havent any device connected in edge and i dont see any text notification. i also tried chrome and this is not happening there.

I don't meet this issue in latest version of Edge. It's hard to identify the issue as we don't have access to your environment. I suggest you can try to repair or reset Edge.

You can follow the steps of "Repair Microsoft Edge" in this doc to repair Edge. Your browser data and settings shouldn't be affected by repair.

If repair Edge doesn't work for you, you can try to reset Edge settings. You can go to edge://settings/reset in Edge, click "Restore settings to their default values> Reset" to reset Edge settings to see if it works.

Do you have any devices connected by Bluetooth? You can try to turn off Bluetooth and observe if the issue appears again. You can refer to this doc about turning off Bluetooth.

Hello, by your suggestion to disconnect Bluetooth (i have a Bluetooth usb device connected) i think i found the issue. Must was a specific usb hub i have. For some strange reason and only when I was opening the edge, it had to be disconnected and connected momentarily (along with all the peripherals that were connected to it) without affecting the operation of the devices, apart from the noise part. Thank you very much for your time and your support for finding the issue!

I am also having this problem. The sound plays mostly when I open LinkedIn. It plays randomly as described above. I've tried turning off USB Selective Suspend as described in other posts, but it doesn't help.
