Hi!

I am looking for a setting for Android with the work profile "allow widgets from work profile apps". I found it on another forum, whereas it is not reflected in reality. I would appreciate your help.

@Małgorzata Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, please note that the setting "allow widgets from work profile apps" is found in the device restrictions for the personally-owned work profile. It is not yet available for the Corporate-owned work profile.

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

    Hope it will help.

As of sometime in the last month or two (July 2026), this has been added (finally!) in Intune, as a Settings catalog option under Device Restrictions, for Android Enterprise. Set it to False to allow creating Widgets on the Android desktop. I've only been missing this for about 2 years after we moved away from WS1, glad it was finally added! User's image
