in my particular case, the feature is to auto-launch a specific app, passing it specific parameter that it can use during startup initialization. This makes the app start up & behave differently than the default when no parameter is specified.
@David Luu Honestly, I haven't found that there is any built-in setting in intune can auto-launch a specific app on Android devices.
Currently, if you want to customize the app settings, you can deploy an app configuration policy to make it.

I am trying to do something even more simple - just have it auto start an app "Managed Home Screen" (basically to force kiosk mode).
The profile and apps and everything all works GREAT until the device is restarted.
Much like David was saying ANY MDM platform has the ability to auto start an app (to lock the devices into kiosk mode).
There are tons of options within Intune - except the option to auto start an app - am I missing something?

Lots of options to turn things on or off / configure things and it all works GREAT until the device is rebooted and the app is not started ... am I missing something?
Like David was saying above just about all third party MDM applications have something for this.
